Transformation Tables: Discussions for Awareness and Change
On my own leadership journey, I find myself many times taking advantage of opportunities to meet new people, have meaningful discussions and learn whenever I can. I had the wonderful chance to be introduced to John Maxwell’s Transformation Tables a few months ago, and it has been a very interesting and enriching experience. In fact, it was so good that I decided to share it with leaders in my network, and now, I’d like to tell you about it!
Transformation Tables are part of the Change Your World initiative to inspire people to take small actions to change the world by first changing themselves. They are values-based leadership lessons experienced in a group setting, either virtually or in person. The six universal values we focus on are: Hope, Listening, Valuing Every Person, Integrity, Forgiveness, and Multiplication.
Each week our table meets for 1 hour to discuss one of the values, and then to plan for how we might use what we’re learning in our daily lives, which leads to personal growth, transformation, and stronger relationships!
Consider joining a Transformation Table if you’re ready to:
Learn about these values and what they mean to you in your life
Build your network by developing meaningful relationships with your group members
Practice simple, yet effective goal-setting techniques
Experience personal accountability and accountability from your group
Feel inspired and equipped to make a difference right where you are
You only need to commit to one hour a week for six weeks – and it’s completely free! And, if you’re looking to broaden the impact in your organization, feel free to bring a colleague, or your whole team!
The results are life-bringing to an organization. Teams develop a common language and a deeper connection as they spend time learning about each other’s personal values, experiences, and goals. Teammates report feeling heard and team leaders report higher levels of engagement. It’s a win-win!
What great value for both time and money.
